Safer food. Stronger confidence.
What is it?
ISO 22000:2018 is the international standard for Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS). It provides a framework for identifying, controlling, and monitoring food safety hazards to help organizations consistently deliver safe products and services.
Applicable to organizations of all sizes across the food chain, it supports food manufacturers, processors, caterers, storage and distribution providers, and relevant suppliers.
The standard combines Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles, prerequisite programs (PRPs), effective communication, and management system practices to strengthen food safety from source to consumption.
